Your information
What we collect and how we use it.
Information you give us
The Cue beta signup asks for your name, email address, phone type, language preference, and a few questions about what you want from Cue and whether you would be open to sharing feedback. Some Cue questions are optional. The study-interest form may ask for your name, email address, an optional note, confirmation that you are at least 18, and confirmation of your email address. The product waitlist asks for your email address and age confirmation.
Basic website security
We use basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser details, request timing, and security tokens, to stop spam and protect the website. Some identifiers are converted into coded values before they are used for security checks.
How we use your information
We use your information to manage the list you joined, contact you about Cue beta access or feedback opportunities, confirm email addresses where a form requires it, send the updates you requested, reply to messages, and keep the website working and secure. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Companies that help us run the site
We use outside services to host the website, store form responses, deliver email, and protect forms and website submissions. Those companies handle information only as needed to provide those services.
Early-study interest
Joining the interest list does not enroll you in a study or allow any additional data collection. Any future study invitation will explain what it involves before you decide whether to take part.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while it is useful for the reason you gave it to us, and longer when needed for security, operations, or legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us to stop contacting you, remove you from a list, correct your information, or delete your record by emailing contact@basil-labs.com.
Age requirement
The study-interest and product-waitlist forms are for people who are 18 or older. Basil Labs does not knowingly use those forms to collect information from children.
